This Senorita Margarita Cocktail is amazingly refreshing, sweet, fruity and sour – a perfect spring cocktail that you can make in just 5 minutes!
I’m feeling the pretty pink love in the air!
Not even because it’s almost Mother’s Day but mostly because this pretty pink Senorita Margarita Cocktail has become a deliciously regular treat in my life lately. And that brings the love.
Let’s agree here, that no Mother’s Day could be complete without a special drink to celebrate the occasion. The complementary flavors of raspberry, mint and lemon make this Senorita Margarita cocktail extra special. Add a hubby prepping some yummy brunch while I leisurely sip on this glass of freshly made margarita and the sound of my kid laughing, and you’ve landed smack dab in the scenario my Mother’s Day dreams are made of.
That’s pretty much all that’s on my wish list for this Mother’s Day. Well, maybe a nap, too, but I’m trying to be realistic here.
Homemade Margaritas
Have you made homemade margaritas before? They’re so simple! What I love about margaritas, or any cocktail for that matter, is that you can make them exactly how you want them. Use the recipe as a guideline, and taste as you go.
Tequila and triple sec could stand on their own together, but for this recipe I went all out on flavour by adding raspberry lemonade and mint to the mix. The result was so lush with fresh, juicy flavours and salty lip-smacking touch.
Serve it with Smoked Salmon and Avocado Breakfast Toast for a brunch feast for your queen.
